After Lemmy’s demise, Phil returned to the studio along with his three sons in addition to the vocalist Neil Starr to start engaged on music as Phil Campbell and the Bastard Sons. In November 2016, his new project Phil Campbell and the Bastard Sons released their first recording, a self-titled EP. The band has subsequently carried out in supporting slots with Guns & Roses, Hawkwind, Saxon, and Airbourne. Phil’s first solo album Old Lions Still Roar was launched on 25 October 2019 and options guest vocals from Alice Cooper, Rob Halford, Dee Snider and Benji Webbe. In February 2016, Campbell entered the studio along with Slipknot percussionist Chris Fehn to document a new solo album. Campbell was born in Pontypridd, and began taking part in guitar when he was 10 years old, impressed and influenced by guitarists similar to Jimi Hendrix, Black Sabbath’s Tony Iommi, Led Zeppelin’s Jimmy Page, Jan Akkerman, Michael Schenker and Todd Rundgren. At the age of 12, Campbell met Lemmy after a Hawkwind gig and requested him for an autograph.

He has toured the world, sold millions of albums and headlined the most important festivals. Phil has a ardour for music and it’s this ardour that has led to the formation of Phil Campbell’s All Starr band. The band are set to blow up onto phases all throughout Europe in 2016, playing rock and roll music to the followers. The setlist will comprise of Motorhead songs infused with covers of a few of Phil’s favorite bands together with Black Sabbath, David Bowie and Led Zeppelin. Motorhead wasn’t only a band, it was a way of life. In a career spanning four decades, the heavy metallic rockers gave us 22 studio albums and managed to promote more than 15 million albums worldwide.
Dr. Campbell is a member of the Endocrine Society, the American Society of Bone and Mineral Research, and the International Bone and Mineral Society. He serves as a publications reviewer for quite a few journals, together with but not restricted to, Tissue Engineering, Biomaterials, Endocrinology, the Journal of Endocrinology, and Nanomedicine. Dr. Campbell is a grant reviewer for the National Science Foundation, the Veteran’s Administration, the Medical Research Council of Canada, NASA, amongst others. His research has been funded by the National Institutes of Health, the National Science Foundation, the Department of Defense, the Office of Naval Research, industry, foundations, Pennsylvania state, and academia. He serves as a publications reviewer for numerous journals, including but not restricted to, Tissue Engineering,Biomaterials, Endocrinology, the Journal of Endocrinology, and Nanomedicine.
